PHLEBOTOMY CLASSES

The Phlebotomy Technician Certification program (CPT) is accredited by the Medical Career Assessments (MEDCA). After you have completed our Phlebotomy Technician Certification Course, you will then sign up for the MEDCA Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam.

We are now offering Phlebotomy Training in Port. Charlotte and Tampa!

The program consists of 4 weeks of lecture and hands-on training within the facility. We have the supplies, equipment, and people with excellent qualifications that will help you to become an excellent Phlebotomist. The program’s objectives are to prepare the student to be able to obtain blood specimens with venipuncture techniques, capillary punctures, classifies laboratory tubes, and more. Live blood draws will be performed in class on fellow classmates. Therefore, students must be willing to participate.

Students attend class one day per week for four weeks. Please view our calendar for class schedules.

Program Requirements

To enroll in this course, you must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma/GED.

Proof of high school diploma/GED is required prior to testing for MedCA national certification exam but not to start the class.

Payment

The cost of the class is $400.00. A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 is required to reserve your seat. The remaining balance of $200.00 is due by the first day of class. We offer a payment plan which requires a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 to reserve your seat. The remaining balance of $200.00 is due by the second week of class, on whatever day you are schedule to attend class. Register online now!

MedCA National Certification Exam

Upon successful completion of the class, you may register to take the Certified Phlebotomy Technician National Certification Exam with us.

In addition, you must email proof of a high school diploma or GED to our email: info@savelivessrq.com. Upon completion of the course, you may register on our website to schedule your exam. The exam fee is $150. The certification is valid for two years and will help increase your chances of getting hired as a Phlebotomy Technician.
